The Adelante Movement is going to the White House

What a week! Two nights ago Hillary Clinton became the first woman in history to become the nominee for her party, in order to run for the Presidency of the United States. This glass ceiling has been shattered and now all women know it may be possible for all of us in the future.

On a personal note, I broke my own glass ceiling. I gave birth to a book that shows all of you, that you can do it too. This baby took a year and a half and it is out! None of these feats are easy, but they are possible. SELF MADE: Becoming Empowered, Self-Reliant and Rich in Every Way, is already a New York Times best-seller, and a #1 hit on the Barnes & Noble and Amazon best-seller list. Did you see all the press on the mainstream media as well as in the Latino press that SELF MADE got?

Please help me support the book and the Self-Made movement. Please share on social media, text, email or simply tell a friend to visit BecomingSelfMade.com, where we have some amazing giveaways for people who order the book now.

I want to reach as many women as possible with this message, to empower them towards success in all areas of their lives. I need your help to get the word out.

Next week I’m off the White House to join SBA Administrator Maria Contreras-Sweet for the announcement and signing of the Adelante – SBA Partnership, which will help bring information about resources and money to Latinas. Be sure to stay connected with us on social media for updates and highlights.

Don’t miss the second episode of our SELF MADE STORIES web series, featuring the beautiful, smart and savvy Jovanka Ciares, a music exec who traded her high-profile dream job for her actual dream.
